The B-C-S Annual Senior Citizen Christmas Luncheon is Scheduled for Tuesday, December 4, 2018, with entertainment beginning at 11:30 AM by the OHHS Mixed Choir and Band followed by a delicious luncheon served by our cafeteria staff and students!

- Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends, going to football and hockey games, and snowmobiling. Often times, you can find me at The Rocket Shop!

Toledo Symphony Side by Side Concert will be held at OHHS!
The BCS Music Boosters are proud to feature the Toledo Symphony Orchestra in a Side by Side concert with the OHHS Music Department and both Woodmore and Port Clinton choirs on Sunday, November 25, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for K-12 students, college students, and seniors 62+. We expect a complete and total sell out. Hope to see you there for this exciting event!

Special guests Woodmore Symphonic Chorale and Port Clinton Choir featuring OHHS Alum Chelsea Smith, soprano.
Tickets - $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for students/senior citizens.
Coffee Connections Announced for 2018
District citizens are invited to join B-C-S Superintendent Guy Parmigian and Treasurer Cajon Keeton to attend a district coffee. Coffees provide an informal opportunity to introduce yourself, chat, ask questions, and learn more about the B-C-S school system and where we are heading. All district citizens are invited to attend. There are no reservations needed, and there is no cost to attend.

Learn-With-Me Day!
RC Waters hosted many Learn-With-Me days this week. It’s so nice to have families come in to see what the students are learning about and be able to participate in activities together.

Kindergarten students enjoyed a delicious feast with their classmates and families on Friday!
This Week At RC Waters!
Our third-grade students just wrapped up Socktober. They collected over 400 pairs of socks to donate to Mosaic Ministries to help families in need. #DoSomethingAmazing
This week's library classes had the chance to participate in a STEM activity. They worked on building a bridge to hold 20 teddy bears using straws and tape.
Mrs. Koren treated her students to lunch this week for passing all levels of their addition math facts. What a great incentive to study those facts! Way to go, kiddos!

Several students bought Lunch with the Principal coupons with their Dojo dollars this week. We had great conversations! Proud of the hard work of these students to earn this reward.

OHMS Canned Food Drive!
Please send non-perishable food items and toiletry items to school November 12th - December 7th! Grade level that donates the most gets to dunk their teachers in a dunk tank.....in the spring!
Candy Collection happening at OHMS!
The middle school is collecting candy to send overseas to our service men and women as a treat. Please have your child or you stop in at the middle school to drop it off. There is a large box in the front hallway to drop it off. Thanks so much! It may brighten someone’s day who is defending our country.

Oak Harbor’s 8th-grade community service event canceled on Friday, November 16th will be rescheduled for after Thanksgiving break . . . Weather permitting!

OHHS Music Performance Class is looking for Instrument donations!
Do you have an old guitar or bass guitar laying around? Have your days of shredding come to an end? If so, the Oak Harbor HS Music Performance class could be that instrument's new home! The class is looking for donations of gently used guitars, basses, and related equipment such as amps and cables. If you have anything you think may be useful to a class that focuses on rock/pop/modern music, please send an email to jhead@bcssd.com or bring your instrument by the high school!

We have been busy wrapping up our study about fall and trees, practicing thankfulness, discussing what foods help us grow and be healthy and prepared for Thanksgiving. We decided that we are thankful for food, family, snacks, pets and toys!

The school district was founded on July 1, 1967 due to the consolidation of the Benton Township School District, the Carroll Township School District, and the Salem-Oak Harbor School District.Benton-Carroll-Salem Local School District, home of the Oak Harbor Rockets, serves 1700 students on three campuses: R.C.
