Class Picture Day

On Thursday, 4/13, students will take a picture with their class. You are welcome to purchase the pictures through Mugsy Clicks if you would like. The class picture will be added to the Yearbook as well.

Young Writers' Awards

Thank you to all the students who submitted their best writing to the Young Writers’ Awards contest. McKinley is lucky to have such dedicated and creative writers, so it was very difficult for the committee to choose only two winners. Congratulations to Pablo Kim in 6th grade and Lucinda Allard in kindergarten. These two students will represent our school in the Sonoma County Young Writers’ Awards Ceremony in May. Also, honorable mentions go out to Daniel Kim, Penelope Faithful, and Chiara Harris. Keep your eyes out for an anthology of all the submissions for your reading enjoyment.

Purchase your tickets for our fundraiser now; THE LOVE BOAT is setting sail

We hope you can join us at our fundraiser on April 29th from 5:00-10:00 PM. You can purchase your tickets now. Talk to your friends and have a large group join the fun to help support McKinley.

April 10-14 is the final week of the Trex plastic bag & film collection challenge!

Thank you to all that have brought in plastic bags & plastic film. You have saved over 150 lbs of plastic from the landfill. Even though the Trex challenge ends on 4/14 please continue to recycle your plastic film & bags. You can drop off plastic bags and film at both Petaluma Safeways and Kohls. Look for the green bins just outside or inside the stores. Thank you to Ms. Roach and the PACS Leadership class for collecting all the plastic and weighing it. We look forward to your participation in the Trex challenge next school year. If you wish to be the McKinley PACS Trex Challenge coordinator please let Ms Roach know. Thank you again!
