Northwood News Nov. 14-18
Be Smart. Be Kind. Be United. Be a Unicorn.
Thank you for Choosing Northwood!
Dear Northwood Community,
It's finally fall! And almost Thanksgiving. I hope you all are enjoying the cooler temperatures and are starting to have thoughts of turkey. This is our last week before Thanksgiving Break. We will have no school the week of Nov. 21-25. We hope you enjoy some rest and time with your family and friends during the break.
This Friday, November 18 is substitute teacher appreciation day. We want to take this opportunity to thank all of our substitute teachers and let them know how much we appreciate them. We are lucky at Northwood to have a group of regular, dedicated substitute teachers, many of whom are Northwood parents too!
Finally this week I have a very special thank you and farewell to announce. Our amazing cafeteria manager, Ms. Megan Montgomery is leaving Northwood to serve a larger school that needs her talents. Friday, November 18th is her last day here. She has served the students and staff at Northwood well for 12 years. We will certainly miss her leadership in the kitchen and especially the special ingredient that she adds to each dish she cooks and serves....love! We love you Ms. Megan and we wish you the best of luck in your new position. You will always be a Unicorn!
Please be sure to read all the way to the end of the newsletter to find out about everything that is going on at Northwood and for important reminders.
Have a great week and thank you for your support!
Mrs. Harper

Absences for illness and medical appointments will be excused with a written note. | Pick-Up ProceduresEveryone picking up a student from school at dismissal is required to present an official Northwood Dismissal Tag.
