Veterans Day

Our plans for the annual Veterans Day assembly to honor our local service members fell through at the last minute. However, we would still love to honor our local Veterans throughout the building. Here is what we are asking:

  • Nov. 11 - Students wear Red, White, and Blue
  • Send in a copied picture of a relative or friend that is a veteran so classrooms can decorate their entry door. Please include the name and branch of service of the Veteran.
  • If you are a veteran, the class would love to hear your story and meet you. Please arrange a time with the teacher during the week of Nov. 11-15 to come to class and tell/read a story.

Thank you again for your service! We appreciate what you've done for our country.

Food Drive Nov. 11-21st

Hello! We are excited to announce our annual food drive!! Starting on Monday, November 11th and going until Thursday, November 21st we will be collecting cans and non-perishables for the hungry right here in our community! What a great opportunity this will be for our kids to help others!! Please consider donating and bringing the cans to your students classroom. The classroom that donates the most cans will receive 30 minutes of free time in the gym!

Safety Reminder - Parking Lot vs Circle Drive

Please remember for your child's safety

Parking Lot -

  • Park and walk your child across the circle drive. DO NOT DROP OFF students in the parking lot without walking them across.
Circle Drive -
  • Pull all the way forward to allow for all parents to drop and go in a quick manner. In cold weather, we start to see families pull up and stop at the crosswalk. This is bad practice as it leads to the circle drive backing up.
