PRINCIPAL'S CORNER

We started our new end of the day pick up procedures this week and you are all doing GREAT! You made the transition so quickly and seamlessly. THANK YOU!!

Please continue to be diligent in having your child stay home if they are ill. When you call school to let us know they will not be in, please tell us the symptoms so we can track what is going around. We continue to work hard at school to do as much mitigation of the spread of illness as we can so your efforts are appreciated immensely.

Parent/Teacher conferences are just around the corner. This is a great way to connect with school so we can work together to educate your child. Reach out to school if you have not scheduled a time to visit with your child's teacher.

Reminder that breakfast begins at 7:30. If your child wants to eat breakfast at school, it is free. Have your child at school at 7:30 so they have time to eat before class begins.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child or school.

Library Summer Reading Program

The library would like to congratulate ALL of the students who participated in our District Summer Reading Program! We had 220 students district wide taking part, and Abrams Elementary had 98 students participating! That was fantastic, and we are looking forward to running this program this next summer. We also loved seeing all of the completed book activities and the lovely pictures that were sent to us. Pictured below are the winners of the drawing that we had for students who returned their completed book challenge card and packet of books. Students are: Levi Gumm, Kennan Kwiatkowski, Liam McCorkle, Karli Detaege, and Emma Eisch-Golik. Also, here is an example of the follow up activities and artwork done by some of the students that made us so happy and proud of our summer learners!
