HOMECOMING PARADE COMMITTEE
The annual Combs High School Homecoming has grown over the years and the community always looks forward to seeing: floats and vehicles featuring local Police & Firefighters, area business owners, student clubs/athletes, the CHS Marching Band, the 2021 Homecoming Court, and much more.
This year’s activities are quickly approaching! The Homecoming Parade is looking for new committee members to help organize and plan for 2021. If you are interested in helping to continue and grow this special event please contact Mr. Laliberte at rlaliberte@jocombs.org

COUNSELORS CORNER
Did you know?? September's Coyote Care subject is Accountability! We know it can be hard to take responsibility for mistakes and poor decisions, and it's also difficult to meet goals when accountability is missing. However, when we take responsibility for our actions then we are more open to growth. Change your mindset...mistakes are simply stepping stones on the path to learning! Here is a great TED talk that focuses on what can happen when you hold yourself accountable:
https://www.ted.com/talks/janyssa_berrios_hold_yourself_accountable_and_never_be_held_back
Did you know?? There are a lot of other things happening in Student Services. October 13 is the school day SAT/PSAT, and those payments are due! Pay your fee in the bookstore and bring your receipt to Mrs. McDowell in 538. Senior presentations will be happening on September 9th and 10th, and we will be working with the AP classes the same day to get everyone registered for their AP exams. Also coming up:
- September 23: Virtual visits with NAU during all 3 lunches...watch your emails for the room number
- September 24: Virtual Visit with U of A during conference time in the College and Career Center
- September 27: Start of Fall Break
