HALO HIGHLIGHT
As you may know, our Academic Study Hall program is part of our commitment to improving the entire St. Louis Catholic High School experience for all our students - academically, spiritually and athletically. I wanted to share that this initiative has gotten off to a very successful start on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30-7 p.m. here on campus.
Athletes from across all sports have been participating - remember, it is mandatory for student-athletes with a D or below in any class - and they are tutored by teachers and members of National Honor Society. Academic Study Hall will continue through the end of the 2018 calendar year, so please encourage your children to attend if they need extra help. Together, we will continue to strengthen our academic performance. We are Saints!
God Bless,
Pat Neck
Athletic Director
Cheer on Saints Football Tonight
Our students gathered in the Commons for an impromptu pep rally during break to get the spirit flowing. We hope to see you tonight cheering the Saints to another victory!
Academic Updates
We hope sophomore and junior parents who were able to attend the meeting on Wednesday evening left with beneficial information. The complete presentation and other information from the meeting are available here. Parents and students can also pick up handouts in the front office or counseling office any time.
Here are a couple of quick links we discussed Wednesday:
As always, we are available to answer any academic question and help guide our Saints to a promising future. Have questions? Email Mia Orgeron, Assistant Principal, or counselors Susan Holmes and Maci David.
Reminder: Grandparents Day is Friday, Nov. 9
Save the Date for Grandparents Day at St. Louis Catholic! On Friday, Nov. 9, grandparents are invited to visit their Saints starting at 12:30 p.m. for gourmet desserts and coffee, followed by a Day of Remembrance and Veteran's Day celebration at 1:45 p.m. in the Krajicek Gym, featuring performances by the band and choir.
Freshman and sophomore grandparents will join their Saints in the main building, while junior and senior grandparents will assemble in the gym for food and pictures. We will have golf carts to help transport grandparents from the parking lots. The pictures are $5 and all proceeds will benefit teacher grants distributed by the Parent Guild.
Save the Date for Open House: Nov. 28, 2018
