Principal's Challenge
We will celebrate President’s Day next week with an extended weekend. In order to honor some of our great country’s history, I would like to extend a Principal’s Challenge in honor of President’s Day 2016.
To participate in the Principal’s Challenge you can work on your own or with your family to find one of the following: a little known fact about Abraham Lincoln or George Washington, an opinion about Abraham Lincoln or George Washington, or a virtue that Abraham Lincoln or George Washington represented and why that virtue is important.
President’s Day was first recognized by Congress in 1885. The date was selected in honor of George Washington’s birthday, which was February 22, 1732. Submit your ideas to the office in any format you’d like between now and February 26th. I hope you’ll accept this challenge and get involved! Our Davisburg families never disappoint! #inspireD
