Colt Corner
#TeamCMS
September 1, 2017
Dear Colts,
This week gave us an opportunity to see what is in our DNA as a society in which so many have come together in order to support those affected by Hurricane Harvey. As a campus, we have had opportunities to highlight ways we can be good "Global Citizens", which is encompassed in GCISD's Portrait of Graduate. From collecting donations to transport seen on our front webpage, on Twitter at #GCISDhelps, to having meaningful discussions in our classrooms, we as a Colt community will continue to find ways to help those in need.
We had a great turnout at Open House on campus this past Tuesday evening. We received a lot of great feedback last year on the structure of the night, so we opened it up as a come-and-go this year. As student voice matters at CMS, so does yours. I hope you take the time to complete this quick two-question survey here on the structure of the evening. Thank you for being a positive voice for #TeamCMS, and I hope you enjoy the three-day weekend.
BEST,
David Arencibia, Ed.D.
