Early Release & No School
September 1st: Please mark your calendars for our first early release date on Wednesday, September 1. School will end at 2:10 p.m. Half Day kindergarten ends at 10:30 am
No School: There is no school due to a Teacher Institute Day on Friday, September 3rd and due to Labor Day on Monday, September 6th. Please enjoy your extended weekend and we will resume school on Tuesday, September 7th.
Meet and Greet
We are excited that we will be able to welcome our families into our building for a meet and greet. The meet and greet will take place in mid September. We will send out details in next week’s e-news.
Picking up your child early?
If you are going to pick your child up early, please remember to bring your ID so we can identify you before checking out your student.

PTO Meeting
Don't forget to mark your calendars! Our first PTO meeting will be happening virtually on Thursday, September 9th @ 7:00 pm. A link will be sent out closer to the meeting.
Room Parents
Room parents coordinate with the classroom teacher to plan crafts, games and snacks for the Fall, Winter Holiday and Valentine’s Day parties. At this time, parents are not allowed in the buildings, but we still have the opportunity to make these class parties fun and memorable for our students.

iReady Testing
Our first and second grade students began their iready testing this week in the areas of math and reading. Teachers will use this information to help plan for interventions this fall. If you would like to access your child's i-Ready diagnostic information in the i-ready student portal as well as additional family resources, please watch this video i-Ready Family Video Our kindergarten students will begin iReady testing September 7th - 17th.

The Davis Garden is Blooming!
We are so excited to see all of the wonderful fruits, veggies, and flowers our garden is growing. Mrs. Thomas and students worked hard planting all of these plants and taking care of them over the summer. All are welcome to visit the garden to water, weed, and pick veggies for their family.
