All About Islam!

Followers of Islam are called Muslims. Islam is a monotheistic religion that is based off the teachings of the prophet Muhammad,and the belief of there God Allah. Many Muslims worship at a building called Mosque.They come here to worship ever Friday noon.There worship leader is a Imam. Many key beliefs for Islam is the belief in Allan,the belief in angles,the belief in the holly book,belief in the Prophet,belief in the Day of Judgment and belief in the Predestination.They get these beliefs from the Holy book called Qu'ran.One very holy site for Muslims is the Dome of the rock in Jerusalem.One common figure for most monotheistic religions is Abraham.

Sacraments and Holidays!

Some Sacraments for Islam are The five pillars of Faith. The first pillar is Shahada which stands for public declaration of faith.The 2 pillar Salat stands for Prayer.The 3 pillar Zakat stands for giving to the needy.The 4 pillar Siyam stand for fasting during Ramadan. The last pillar Hajj stands for pilgrimage,or journey to the city of Mecca at least once in a life time. Some holidays for Islam are Ramadan which celebrates Allah (their god) giving Mahammed message.During this holiday you 'fast' which is when you go with out food or water for a long period of time. Edi al Fitr is a holiday that celebrates the end of Ramadan and the end of fasting.During this they will have a big feast with all the food they ever wanted.
