Most Blessed Sacrament Church

Youth Ministry

Welcome to Remind 101

Hello Parents...

This is Lyndon Batiste, Youth Minister at Most Blessed Sacrament Church. It has been my desire to be in contact with you, the parents, in order to help us all carry out a great and successful Youth Ministry. However, due to busy schedules and other priorities I know that it is difficult for everyone to stay in touch.

Well, one of the perks that I get with hanging around our Youth is that I am often made privy to technology, and the constant new forms of communicating. On this past Sunday one of our students introduced me to "Remind 101", which apparently is not new to them, but has been a great discovery for me.

"Remind 101" allows teachers, parents, and students to stay in touch, via text messaging, without ever revealing or exchanging personal phone numbers or information. Yet, we can still communicate and have that sense of anonymity that we all desire. This is important, because in the coming months we'll be attempting to plan lock-ins, field trips, service days, confirmation classes, and many more activities designed to engaged our students' Faith. This also calls for a path of communication, so that we can achieve our goals and work together to build a vibrant Youth Ministry at Most Blessed Sacrament. is how it works...

With your cell phone...send this text message @mbsch to the number (404) 620-321...

You will then be logged into the virtual "classroom" and we will be able to communicate freely.

I hope that you sign-up so that we can remain in contact. We have some great things on the horizon for our Youth, and hopefully those seeds will bring about a great harvest as, together, we develop them into tomorrow's future faith leaders.

Thank You,

Lyndon Batiste
