STAAR Tips

-Students should eat a healthy breakfast. Research has shown yogurt, oatmeal, eggs and such are great ways to start the day and stay regulate blood sugars.

-There is a need for healthy snacks too! Send in easy to eat items PLUS a water bottle.

-Have your child wear comfortable clothing on testing days. Students are allowed to take off their shoes and get comfy since they will be in one spot for a long period of time.

-Regular classroom expectations are still in effect. Please encourage your child to take their time and use their strategies.
