Mission Statement
St. Joseph Catholic School fosters a diverse community of disciples empowered through a rigorous and inclusive Catholic education rooted in Gospel values and service to others.
Reflection from school mass
We need to let others see Jesus by acting like he does with kindness and goodness. This will make the world a better place.
Atticus, Grade 3
We can help people believe in Jesus by seeing us living the message of Jesus. We need to recognize Jesus in others and be Jesus for others. Jesus shows he is the Messiah by his actions. We need to show others Jesus' love by our actions.
Luis, Grade 3
What the reflection means to me is that I don't have to be the Messiah to lead you to Jesus, everyone can.
Windlerson, Grade 3
We should treat people like Jesus did. And act like Jesus. This will lead us and them to God. We can be responsible for doling good like Jesus. We need to let others see that Jesus is the Messiah. We need to show others Jesus' love by our actions.

Christmas dress down days
We are planning a school-wide pajama dress down day on Friday, December 18th. Please keep in mind that pajamas must be school appropriate and should meet the general uniform guidelines. General rule of thumb: if a parent, or student, questions whether their clothing is unacceptable, the student should probably wear something else.
*As with all dress down days, administration reserves the right to require the student to change if clothes are deemed inappropriate for school.

Gospel Reading This Sunday
Gospel for Sunday, Dec. 20:
A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke.
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. And he came to her and said, "Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you." But she was much perplexed by his words and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And now, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his ancestor David."
The Gospel of the Lord.
