EOY Technology Check-In Information
We are now beginning to prep for the end of this school year. Here are the procedures regarding:
1:1 iPads
Shared iPads
Educator devices
1:1 iPads:
4th grade: Your learners’ iPads will move to 5th grade with them. Please be sure to complete steps outlined in this presentation. Once everything is complete, iPads must be checked in with Debra by the due date.
5th grade: Your learners’ iPads must be prepared for the upcoming 4th graders. Please be sure to complete steps outlined in this presentation. Once everything is complete, iPads must be checked in with Debra by the due date.
Shared iPads:
All shared iPads must be reimaged this summer; however, we are trying a new procedure to hopefully make the beginning of the year checkout quicker for you and easier for our new librarian:
K-2: Debra and I will provide you with “tech turn-in boxes”. Please:
Place ALL of your devices in the box along with chargers.
Bring the box to Debra for check-in. We will add a checklist printed from Destiny to the top of your box indicating the contents, which you will sign at check-in and check-out.
3rd:
iPads will be stored in your carts. Please make sure each device is checked in with Debra by the due date.
Educator Devices:
Macs should be reimaged each year before leaving for the summer (whether or not you are keeping it over the summer.. Please begin preparations for this process. Danny will let us know when our date will be. Please view these steps.
If you are not planning to keep your iPad or Mac over the summer, please check it in, along with the chargers, with Debra by the due date.
If you are not returning to Wilson, please sign out of iCloud and iTunes, and return ALL educator devices.

Regarding District Assessments for Next Year...From Dr. Denison
Principals and Educators,
Due to the requirement of Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) and the need to better identify student growth, we will be providing district benchmark assessments at the end of both semesters. Therefore, we will NOT provide district assessments at the end of the first and third 9 weeks. This is a change to the CMP, so I wanted everyone notified in order to be prepared for next year. Principals, please share with all educators.

Access to the New Curriculum
Instructional Technology from Nancy Garvey
I wanted to let you know about “Today at Apple”, new in-store programs that inspire and educate our customers to help them pursue their passions. Today at Apple includes programming like Field Trips for students and teachers, sessions on coding with Swift Playgrounds, and Teacher Tuesdays, an exciting new program just for teachers. Teacher Tuesdays are 90-minute sessions that will help educators discover the many ways iPad and Apple apps can enhance productivity and boost creativity with students. They can learn and practice new skills, explore free education resources, and connect with other educators in the area.
Please share this announcement about Teacher Tuesdays with your staff and encourage them to sign up for sessions. This could be a great way for your teachers to learn more about innovative ways to use their devices over the summer!

Math from Mary Kemper
All K – 5 math educators should have received an email this week from Exemplars.com with log in information. This resource has been purchased to provide additional content for our new curriculum documents, in the form of performance tasks. This resource will be embedded within our curriculum documents and professional learning will be provided to support the implementation in the fall. Educators interested in implementing this spring are welcome to do so. If educators have misplaced the email, they may go to exemplarslibrary.com, use their email address and the initial password: cisd200 to log in. If anyone is having difficulty logging in, please share this email address with them to troubleshoot: support@exemplars.com.
