Who was Shakespeare?


He was a successful and leading actor and poet.


He was an aspiring writer for and of his age, and was a role model for many other authors and play writers of his time.

Where did he live and when?


Shakespeare was born in 1564, in Stratford-Upon-Aven.


He died on April 23rd, 1616, at the age of 52.

What did he accomplish?


Some of Shakespeare's most famous plays were, Julius Caesar, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, Romeo and Juliet, and The Comedy of Errors.


He became the owner of the famous Globe Theater in 1599.

Shakespeare was only 18 when he married his wife who was 26 years old.


Shakespeare had 3 children, Susanna, Judith, and Hamnet(Who died at age 11).


Shakespeare wrote 36 plays, 154 sonnets, and many poems.
