Principal's Update
Thank you to all who participated in our "Caps for Kids" fundraiser. There is still time to donate by clicking on the flyer below.
We are well into the First Quarter at this point and it's a good time to make a habit of checking your child's grades online using Powerschool. If you need help logging in, please call the office. It is our school policy that any student wishing to participate in extracurricular activities be passing all classes.

Sept. 17th - Girls Softball Sectionals - 11:00 at Old Quarry Lemont
Sept. 21st - Wear Yellow for Childhood Cancer Awareness
Sept. 28th - Wear your favorite Band/Concert Shirt

Softball
Girls softball took home the Regional Championship this week , beating Liberty 8-3. Anna Lundstedt pitched a great game, striking out 10! Rowan McCarter and Katie Peetz both had multiple hits and Maddie Barber reached base every plate appearance. The girls play Troy in the Sectional Championship this Saturday, 11:00 at Lemont Old Quarry.
Cross Country
This week, the cross country team participated in a 3-team home meet. The 6th grade girls, 7th/8th grade girls, and 7th/8th grade boys teams all won. Sadie Eissing, Gracie Kane, & Henry Eissing each won individually. Others who placed in the top three were: Madison Lewis, Isabella Wynsma, Brayden Klacko, Alex Boreman, Bella Ryan, Zane Szynkowski, & Dayton Barrett. The team next competes this Sat. at the Troy Invite.
