Staffing for Next Year
Staffing Updates:
Thank you to everyone who attended our Meet and Greet. It was great to have all of our new staff attend. If you did not attend, and you will be here next year, be sure to fill out an information form for Sally which includes the t-shirt size you want for our staff shirt next year.
Here is information about our latest new hires.
Sherisse St. Louis (Special Education)--Hi! My name is Sherisse St. Louis. I look forward to this upcoming year at A. Robison as a Special Education teacher. This will be my 6th year teaching, 4th year in special education. I come to you all the way from New York City, and after being in Texas for seven years I know I’ve found my forever home for me and my two boys, Aaden, who’s going into 6th grade next year and Eli my 9 month old. I love being a part of the Cy-Fair Family, particularly in special education. I found that working with special needs children is something that I absolutely love! When I’m not mom’ing or teaching you can find me poolside or grooving in a Zumba class. I’m excited about this upcoming year and can’t wait to meet everyone!
Katelyn Pipkin (Kindergarten)--Hello! My name is Katelyn Pipkin, and I am extremely excited to join the Robison family next year. I will be a Kindergarten teacher and this will be my first year teaching. I previously worked as an instructional aide and then a substitute in Tomball ISD. I have been happily married for 5 years to my husband Matt and we have an adorable 8-month-old daughter, Raelyn. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, finding new tv shows, or reading. I am looking forward to the coming school year and beginning this new adventure.
Ashley Reeves (3rd Math/Science)-Hello, my name is Ashley Reeves and I am thrilled to be joining the Rocket Family! This will be my 17th year of teaching. I taught for 11 years in Katy ISD and 5 in CFISD (K, 2nd, 3rd, 4th). Math is my fave! My husband, Sean, loves to fish and I have 3 boys--one will be a Junior at Woods, one will be a junior at the University of Arkansas, and one will be a senior at SHSU...so we're a BearHog family! I love the Astros, cooking, the beach, and spending time with friends and family by the pool. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and am really excited to be at Robison!
Cy-Woods Senior Walk (Time Change)
End-of-Year Awards and Parties
PTO is not providing snacks for the awards assemblies since the kids will get Kona ice that day during large group. I think this will make it easier for everyone, and I'm sure our custodians will appreciate it. Please be sure to have a plan for awards. You'll probably want to talk as a team about your plans. This should be a special time for students to be recognized with academic awards and personal awards.
