Wednesday Dismissal
Every Wednesday we will end the school day at 3:00 pm instead of 3:30 pm. This gives our teachers throughout the District collaboration time by attending weekly professional learning communities. Please plan accordingly to pick your child up at 3PM.
COVID Vaccination Clinic, 12/11/21
Westside Community Schools is hosting a second COVID-19 vaccination clinic this Saturday, December 11 at Westside Middle School, 8601 Arbor Street. Our site will be open from 10:00am until 2:00pm; this is a walk-in clinic and appointments are not needed, although you can schedule your slot at this link: https://login.registermytime.com/douglascountyhealthdepartment/generalpopulation
This site is open to children ages 5 through 11, as well as those 12 years and older interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. This clinic will provide patients an opportunity to receive a second COVID-19 dose.
The Douglas County Health Department has also asked Westside and other area school districts to share the following link regarding additional COVID-19 vaccination clinics for children ages 5-12 who may now be eligible to receive the vaccine: https://www.douglascountyhealth.com/109-covid-19/812-where-to-get-a-covid-19-vaccine
We understand this a personal choice for your family and encourage you to discuss at home and with your family doctor. For additional information about Westside’s response and protocols related to the COVID-19 pandemic, please visit this link on our website: https://www.westside66.org/domain/408
