Technology Education News
Students in 8th grade are near completion of their semester long design and modeling class. One assignment students were presented with was a design brief to develop a solution to a problem. Students had to brainstorm, research, sketch, and then develop prototypes to solve a problem. Students utilized a 3D design program and made prototypes, which were printed on a 3D printer.

March 5th. Congratulations, Andre! Well done!

Naomi writes...
"I still keep [Ocean Wonders, the book our students wrote for her] at the very top of everything, always, the gorgeous book of poems and artwork, mostly sea-oriented, that your students made. [My visit] was a magical, precious time!…Oh, not only have I kept the book your students made, I tote it with me everywhere to show it off proudly to other students/teachers/librarians and they love it! I think it inspires their own…"
Naomi's most famous poem is probably "Kindness", the poem for Lindsey which begins this newsletter. (Which Ironically, Nancy handed to me as I struggled to write this newsletter.)
A lesson for all of us to remember: some things we do can have greater positive, lasting effects than we at first could ever imagine.
