CBSA Newsletter
October 8, 2021
Dear Families,
Happy Fall!
Our number one priority is our students growing and learning during the 21-22 school year. I encourage each of you to keep in close contact with your student's teacher for support and opportunities to ask questions. If you have not signed up for the Parent Portal where you have access to your child's grades and attendance, you can call the office at anytime to get your login information.
We have been busy these first few weeks of school with expanding our school garden/farm, implementing digital intervention curriculum, STEM projects, celebrating positive behavior and positive academic growth.
We are excited for the wonderful weeks ahead! Please call me at 843-362-3500 or email me at swilbanks@marion.k12.sc.us with questions or concerns.
Mrs. Wilbanks, Principal
COVID
If your child is being tested for COVID or anyone in your household is being tested and awaiting results, please DO NOT send your child to school. Please call Nurse Legette to share any information related to COVID, and she will help direct you on what to do next.
National Bullying Prevention Month
October is National Bullying Prevention month. During October students, schools, and communities all over the world go BLUE together against bullying.
Join us in solidarity to stop bullying and cyberbullying! Wear a blue shirt on October 21st to recognize October as National Bullying Prevention Month. End the Hate... Be the Change!
Red Ribbon Week
In celebration of Red Ribbon Week we will have dress up or theme days!
