Note: This communication will address the weeks of 11/15 and 11/22. On behalf of the high school, we want to extend best wishes to everyone over this Thanksgiving Break.

Marking Period 2 Parent-Teacher Conferences
- Scheduled for 11.24.20 from 12:45-3:15 & 5:00-8:00.
- Conferences will occur virtually through Meet the Teacher application. Please sign-up via this link.

Class of 2021 Information
Post Prom Meeting for November
- October meeting notes are attached.
- Scheduled for 11/18/20 at 6:30. Parents/Guardians of Seniors can join by selecting this link.
- Seniors were invited to attend a class meeting last week. This meeting shared information regarding class dues, fundraising opportunities. Additionally, the representative from Josten’s reviewed the process for ordering caps and gowns. Orders for graduation attire are due November 20th, 2020. Yearbook Updates:
Senior Tribute – NEW FOR 2021… Parent tributes will be created by YOU!- Go to www.jostensadservice.com, decide your tribute size, choose one of several layout choices, add your photos, and write your heartfelt sentiment to celebrate your senior’s milestone. Create and purchase online by January 31, 2021. Three-month payment plan available.
- Senior students will have another opportunity to be photographed at the high school for the yearbook: November 17 and November 18 from 12:00PM-5:30PM. There is no fee for students having a photo taken for yearbook purposes only. Students are welcome to have senior portraits taken elsewhere but must have the headshot taken by Lifetouch to be included in the yearbook. To schedule Senior pictures, please visit the following link and search for Manheim Central High School or contact Lifetouch @ 1-800-445-1189 to schedule a photo session.
Personal Senior Photo -
- Senior students who have their senior photos taken by someone other than Lifetouch can have a personal senior photo showcased in the yearbook on the Senior Photo Collage page. There are a limited number of spaces. These photos can be submitted electronically to beamesderferd@manheimcentral.org. Please submit by November 20.

Home Hybrid Online Attendance Form
Home Hybrid Learner Material Pick-Up & Drop Off
Materials can continue to be picked up in the main office between the hours of 7:15-3:30PM.
If your student ended a course on November 4th, please drop off materials to the main office. If the office is closed, items can be dropped off at the dropbox located in the Main Office Vestibule. Office hours are 7:15 AM - 3:30 PM. Failure to return materials will result in an obligation.

- Seniors, November is College Application Month! Work to complete your college applications by the holiday season. Participate to earn raffle tickets and win big! Here’s how it will work:
- Attend college application events throughout November (all posted on Schoology)!
- Participate in College Knowledge Trivia
- Complete and submit your college applications using Common App or College Websites
- Submit the FAFSA and PHEAA State Grant Applications.

- Available by pre-order here.
- Pick-up on Tuesdays between 2:45 - 3:15.
- Once you have your food, make sure it is refrigerated within 2 hours.

Reminders of the Home Hybrid Live Streaming Notice
As a reminder:
- A student can only be marked present if they have logged into the Zoom session and completed their daily assigned learning activity.
- Students must connect with video for the duration of the class. Please note that students can use an MCSD virtual background for privacy.
- If a student is not logged into a session, that student will be marked absent and will be required to produce an absent note in order to be excused. The learner will be expected to make up work from classes missed.
