Gallup Staff & Student Survey Results Released
The 23-24 Gallup Staff and Student Engagement survey reports were published this week for Pasco County Schools. These surveys, used to provide information that schools and district departments can use to plan, highlights areas of strength and opportunity.
Our first year data is very encouraging, showing strong employee engagement and solid student goals to focus our work in the coming semester and next year. Strengths in our employee data include:
- The belief that our staff is committed to doing quality work
- The opportunity to do what they do best everyday.
Areas of focus for our staff support the reality of a new school in October:
- Having the materials and equipment necessary for their work
- Receiving praise or recognition for their work during the prior 7 days
For students, we have insight into their goals, aspirations, and ways they spend their time. The survey results show us how they were engaged in learning inside and outside of school, and their agency, which is whether they believe that their efforts influence the outcome of their work. We're just beginning to consider how these reports will help us. We hope you'll also enjoy the chance to peek into the climate and culture of our school.
School Choice Window Opening
Pasco County Schools is proud to offer many options for students and families. Our options include specialized programming within schools, magnet options and career and technical education programs.
Attention - Grade 8 Parents
Our current 8th-grade students must apply to enter the high school program. The application will require families to select a program pathway to direct their studies.
