An Easter Prayer by St. Bernard of Clairvaux
Lord, you have passed over into new life, and you now invite us to pass over also. In these past days we have grieved at your suffering and mourned at your death. We have given ourselves over to repentance and prayer, to abstinence, fasting, and almsgiving. Now at Easter you tell us that we have died to sin. Yet, if this be true, how can remain on earth? How can we pass over to your risen life, while we are still in this world? Will we not be just as meddlesome, just as lazy, just as selfish as before? Will we not still be bad-tempered and stubborn, enmeshed in all the vices of our past? We pray that as we pass over to you, our faces will never look back. Instead, let us, like you, make heaven on earth!
Pledge of Allegiance
and to the Republic for which it stands,
one nation under God, indivisible,
with liberty and justice for all.
We would love to hear our students recite the Pledge of Allegiance or sing the National Anthem. If you are interested, please record yourself respectfully reciting the Pledge of Allegiance or singing the National Anthem and send it to Mrs. DiSilvio at ldisilvio@marian.com. Your recording will be placed here for all to enjoy!

To support schools, we’re providing free remote learning resources for students. Details about the AP Review classes, including a daily course schedule, are posted online. All classes are available live and as recordings on the Advanced Placement® YouTube channel.
NCAA EC COVID-19 Response Update
The NCAA Eligibility Center has received a number of inquiries regarding potential adjustments to the initial-eligibility certification process as a result of closures, cancellations and changes due to COVID-19. We are working closely with our member institutions and making progress toward national solutions to the issues raised for both Divisions I and II. We look forward to communicating the details of these adjustments in the coming weeks upon complete review through our governance processes. For information on COVID-19, please visit ncaa.org/COVID-19 and continue to monitor for more information from the Eligibility Center at on.ncaa.com/EC_COVID.
Free Score Reports for Students
Reminder to all students - especially seniors - please indicate through My AP the college, university, or scholarship program that you would like to receive your free score report. Please indicate this information only through My AP. This information is no longer provided on the answer sheets. The deadline to indicate or change your free score report recipient through My AP is June 20.
Attention Seniors
The Guidance Office is in the process of collecting information for this year's Honors Day. We want to be sure that everyone who's received scholarships from colleges and third party sources is recognized during this year's program.
We've created a form that we'd like you all to use when reporting your scholarship information. It can be accessed online at: https://forms.gle/ArBdMqghNNSPcTAm9
Some quick instructions for reporting the information we need:
- Report all scholarships awarded by all schools/sources that scholarships were received from…not just the school the student will attend.
- Do not report need-based grants you've received. If you have a question about whether a specific award is a scholarship or a grant, please contact Mr. Stamatakos directly.
You'll see in the form that you can report your information one of two ways:
- You may upload pictures or scanned copies of your award letters to the form and submit them.
- You may list information for each scholarship and source individually.
Please note the instructions in the form regarding Option 1. You may list information for up to 10 awards in the form if you choose to report using Option 2. If you need to list information for more awards, you'll be able to access the form again to submit the information about those additional awards.
Please report your information no later than Monday, April 20 so Mrs. Diamond can put together the Honors Day program. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter! If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Diamond at jdiamond@marian.com. Stay safe and well!
Happy Birthday to...
