The Muscular System
The muscular system is an organ system consisting of skeletal, smooth and cardiac muscle. It permits movement of the body, maintains posture, and circulates blood throughout the body.
Organs that assist the muscular system would be found in the stomach, small intestine and lots of different places all of our bodies.
Types of responses that the muscles give off are twitching which is a single brief contraction and a tetanus which is one contracting immediately followed by another.
Muscles are always attached to at least 2 points!
Movement is attained due to a muscle moving an attached bone.
