Buddhists brought the art of flower arranging to Japan. Beauty of flowers were highlighted by people. Bonsai is the art of growing miniature trees or shrubs in small pots. Beauty of nature is what landscape gardeners tried to create. The gardens that are designed to help people think quietly are the Zen-inspired gardens. they are arranged with rocks and pathways and a few flowers. gardening and flower arranging is still is still important.
