A Little Bit about Me
My name is Nicole Morrison I am 39 years old. I am married to a wonderful husband of 13 years. I live in a very small town in Ohio. Where we own an operate a logging company and we recently sold our Restaurant/Tavern. I have an 8 year old daughter. She is the reason I went back to school to become a teacher. This is my last class here at Ashford University upon graduation in February 2016. I am very excited to achieve this goal. I hope everyone has a wonderful experience here at Ashford. It has been a long 2 year journey and one that I am glad that I took.
My Experience Working With Children
I am currently employed at Columbaina County Head Start. I have been employed here for 3 almost 4 years know. I love my job here. My job title is Assistant Teacher/Family Advocate. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. Nothing brings joy to me than watching children grow in a way that can't be explained. I started working here as an volunteer when my daughter went to school here. Then my love for this ob got the best of me and I wanted to become a teacher or Early Childhood Education.
What I want to Learn from this Class?
To have a better understanding of child development and how this will help me become a better child educator for years to come.
