Dewey's "Two Weeks of Wonder" Summer Learning Programs
This summer we would like to provide students an opportunity to engage in hands-on, collaborative learning activities that focus on Science and literacy with art and music integration. Dewey staff members in combination with the Effie Yeaw Nature Center and the Carmichael Parks and Recreation Department will be offering incoming 1st-6th grade students with the opportunity to learn, socialize and reconnect with school.

Dates: June 14th - 18th OR June 21st - 25th
Time: 8:45am -11:15am
1. June 14th - 18th: Effie Yeaw STEAM CAMP : Discover the connections between science and nature. Students discover how the natural world influences physics, engineering, arts, and math.
2. June 14th - 18th: IntelliBricks' Lego Robotics - Motor Madness: Children will build a car and learn the concepts surrounding it.
3. June 21st - 25th: Effie Yeaw Art and Explore Camp: Students will learn about the overlap between art and nature and create works of art using natural resources and focusing on nature themes.
4. June 21st - 25th: Young Rembrandts: An art workshop focusing on our favorite Apps and Video Games.
