We also have several student leadership opportunities happening at Patterson:
- Students in grades 3-6 that are interested are gearing up to give speeches as they run for our new student council. The student council will help run school events and work on projects to help Make Patterson a Better Place!
- Our assembly crew, who works with Mrs. Pate to set up and take down the gym for assemblies, recently celebrated their hard work with a popsicle party Friday.
- Students in 6th grade have taken over our morning announcements and are doing a superb job!
- Students in grades 4-6 are applying and becoming self-managers on an on-going basis since the beginning of December.
- Our younger students are also showing leadership in recognizing their peers through PAX "tootles" and are being recognized by staff through Super Gotchas.
Finally, a big shout out to mom Janamarie E. for her continued work on tons of Booster Club projects and to mom Beth L. for her dedication and volunteer work with our Chess Club!
Have a great week!
