The boys' basketball teams travelled to YMLA last Friday night to close out the first round of district play on the road. The sub-varsity teams lost their games, with the JV game coming down to the last possession of the game and losing by a point. Kyu Wilson, Robert Jones, and Michael Richmond had great performances in the close defeat.

The varsity team played incredible defense throughout the night including holding YMLA to 3 points in the fourth quarter to come away with a 39-31 victory and spoil the YMLA homecoming. Junior Xavier McIntyre led the Cougars with 9 points and also added 7 rebounds. Our boys showed tremendous toughness and composure throughout the contest.

The win puts the Cougars at 3-3 in district play.
