Birthday Treats
Every child is special, and we know they enjoy celebrating their birthday. If you desire to bring treats for the class, all items must be store-bought, individually packaged, and sealed. Due to the dietary and allergy restrictions of many students, we ask that all treats contain a label detailing the ingredients. Treats will not be consumed on campus. All treats will be distributed at the end of the day, during dismissal, and the receiving parent can determine if their child is allowed to have the treat. Additionally, the parents in the class will be notified by the teacher that a "sealed treat" will be coming home with their child. Birthday invitations may only be passed out at the very end of the school day and go straight into backpacks to be opened at home.

Counselor's Corner
DINO GEORGE is a traveling museum that showcases a diverse range of prehistoric creatures, with a primary focus on dinosaurs. From massive dinosaur skulls to intricate fossil replicas, they present exhibit pieces from around the world, and every time period, that captivate young minds and spark their interest in paleontology and natural sciences. In addition to dinosaurs, they feature other fascinating prehistoric animals such as fish and mammals, providing a comprehensive view of Earth's history.
The Spradley PTO is excited to sponsor a STEAM Dino Day for our Scholars, as well as an Interactive Family Night! Students will get to visit the museum during the day with their class and complete different learning activities, PLUS Dino George will reopen for two hours after school in the evenings so students can bring back their families to tour the museum as well! No parents will be allowed inside the traveling museum during the school day/before 3:30pm.
Please join us in the Spradley Gym from on Friday, March 1st from 3:30pm until 5:30pm.
During this time you will get the chance to view fossils and other artifacts. You will be able to view and make purchases from the gift shop, but we are also sending home preorder forms for the gift shop. Your student will bring the order form home in their backpack in the next few days. We suggest ordering early if there is something your student likes to ensure it does not sell out!
*For gift shop preorders please fill out the front and back of the order form and staple your cash/check to the order form. If you want to pay using credit card you will need to do so in person on Friday afternoon. No parents will be allowed inside the traveling museum during the school day/before 3:30pm.
If you have any questions about this event, gift shop preorders, or if you need a new order form please email us spradleypto@gmail.com

When to take your child to urgent care vs. the emergency room: We love winter, but not the respiratory illnesses that come with it. If your child starts showing symptoms of COVID-19, flu, or other illness, contact your primary care provider for guidance, or after hours, visit an urgent care for non-life-threatening symptoms. Click on the link above to learn more from Children’s Health℠ experts as they share signs and symptoms to look for when deciding whether urgent vs. ER care is needed.
