KCA Saint Weekly

Weekly Posting for the Saints

This Week in Review

Wow! What a week!! We had 3 basketball games, a staff meeting, 6th Grade presented Chapel along with all the fun and amazing things that are happening in side the classrooms KCA! Time seems as if it is rushing by!

Excitement is around the school as we get ready to celebrate the birth of Our Savior. Each family has their own traditions and way they celebrate this time of year. Our focus at school is to celebrate Christ. We want to make sure that Christ is in Christmas.

Because each family celebrates differently, it is important that we honor each other's traditions and ways we celebrate. Some families may include Santa in their celebrations, while others do not. Please make sure you talk with your students on how to honor their fellow students and different traditions that families have. A great book to incorporate different traditions is, The Kneeling Santa. We will always point our students to Christ and the Great Gift that God gave to us through His Son.

Needs

  • We are in need of canes (10) for the Kindergartners (Shepherds) for the Christmas Concert. Please label them and send with your student. They will be returned the night of the concert.
  • URGENT NEED- Farmer's Mutual Insurance has graciously donated a copier to the school. The copier needs to be transported from their location to KCA. The copier is about 300 pounds, it must stay upright, and we must get it by Thursday, December 10th. We are in need of a way to transport it and 2-3 guys to take on this project. Farmer's Mutual is open until 5pm each day. Please contact me at: principal@kcasaints.net or call 310.4110 if you would be able to help with this project.
