New Vegetarian Lunch Offered Daily
ROOTED
Lunches will now offer a vegetarian option daily, which we call the "Rooted" option. All students are welcome to make this as a selection for lunch if they choose.Weekend Backpack Program
The Weekend Backpack Program is in its second year at Memorial School. We are grateful for the work that Ms. Susan Dietrich and all of the volunteers do each week to prepare bags for our students. Currently, there are almost 50 bags distributed each week across both elementary schools and the Food Pantry is always looking for donations from the community. The Weekend Backpack Program is an extension of the Medway Village Food Pantry, a private, non-profit group, which is a member agency of the Greater Boston Food Bank. Please see a list below of needed items and donations in bulk/cases are most helpful. Finally, please see this link for an article in the Milford Daily News.
Suggested donation items include the following:
- Fruit cups in 100 percent juice - mixed fruit, peaches, etc.
- Individual cups of microwavable Rice-A-Roni
- Ready Pasta pouches (Barilla) - rotini, elbows or penne
- Individual bags of pretzels - 10-pack or larger
- Individual bags of Goldfish crackers - cases of 30
- Individual boxes of raisins, packages of six or larger
- Boxes of instant oatmeal packets, like Quaker reduced-sugar
- Pirate's Booty - cases of 36 individual bags
- Nutri-Grain breakfast bars

Rain Garden to be Installed at Memorial
While we do not anticipate disruption to our recess schedule during the construction of the rain garden, we have identified other outdoor areas where students can have recess should we need to relocate during this brief 5-7 day construction window.

What Information Will Families Access in Infinite Campus?
All families, PK-12, will be utilizing Infinite Campus in the coming year. At the grade PK-4 levels, this tool will be accessed by families to ensure accuracy and updating of personal information such as phone numbers, addresses, and health information.
Setting Up Your Infinite Campus Account
In our August 15 communication, families were asked to set up their own Parent Portal accounts with the following instructions.
Families should have received an email communication from messenger@medwayma.mg.infinitecampus.org with an activation code to log into Infinite Campus
This code is unique to you and your address. Please do not share or pass this information onto anyone.
Please do not worry; you will not have to memorize this number. You will simply be granted access to the portal with this number.
Once accessed, you will be guided through the process of creating a username and password.
From there, the instructions will assist you in the process of verifying/updating contact information for your household. If you have any questions, please complete this FORM.
Additional directions and information can be found by clicking here.
Process for Reviewing and Updating Student Information in Infinite Campus
As families may have noticed, our typical paper forms were not sent home this year. Instead of the “beginning of year packet” which includes student enrollment, health, and demographic information, families are being asked to review all demographic information and submit requested changes via the Infinite Campus online registration portal. Families will be asked to complete the “Online Registration” option, listed under More to ensure we have the most current information for our students. If, for any reason, families are unable to access the Parent Portal, they are asked to please email us at parent@medwayschools.org for support or to request a hard copy of these forms. Requests for changes are reviewed internally and edits are approved or additional information will be requested.
Requests for address changes or custody agreements should still be brought into your child’s school office. A proof of residency will need to be provided to support an address change request. The proper court documents should be brought in to support any custody arrangements as well. If you have more than one child, you only need to visit one school to request the change.
