COVID-19 Closure Update for OPS
Good Afternoon, Otsego families
During our morning meeting with the Allegan County Health Department and local superintendents, the health department informed us that no new cases were reported as of this morning.
As I mentioned yesterday, Governor Whitmer has issued an Executive Order for all non-essential employees to stay home. Our administration office is closed but for those families in grades 3-12 that don’t have internet access and haven’t picked up an instructional packet, please call our office at 269-694-7902 and leave your name and phone number. We will make sure the packet is delivered to your house. Our food service program will continue to provide meals during this Executive Order and yesterday we served 2505 students.
Our distance learning is underway and I hope your child has been able to connect and engage with their classroom teacher over the past couple of days. As I mentioned this is extremely beneficial when we transition back to our normal routine of being in school.
I hope all of you are doing well and staying healthy. We will continue to work in providing supports and assistance during this very difficult time.
I look forward to connecting with you tomorrow.
