September 2022
Dear Klein Cain Parents and Students,
As we head into the 5th Week of our 2022-2023 school year, we have so much to celebrate here at Klein Cain High School. The staff and students have come back ready to learn and work together to make this year as wonderful as it can possibly be. The halls are buzzing with the hustle and bustle of all things high school and our kids have been nothing short of amazing.
We have survived our 1:1 Chromebook roll out. We had a wonderful Freshman Mixer. We celebrated our programs at a successful “Meet the Hurricanes” event. Our Football, Volleyball, Tennis, Golf and Cross Country teams are representing us in their respective arenas while competing with heart and determination. Our student trainers have been there keeping all of our athletes healthy and our Cheerleaders, Legacies and Cainiacs have been there every step of the way cheering on their fellow Hurricanes. Our Sound of the Storm Band & Color Guard have wowed us at football games and are preparing for their competition season.
We are preparing for our 2022 Homecoming, spearheaded by our amazing Student Council, and are excited to welcome 3 classes of alumni back “home” to Klein Cain HS. Our FFA students have procured their animals and have started showing them and competing. Our Theater students are preparing to showcase their amazing talents in their first show of the year, "Absolutely Murder", that debuts this weekend. And, I am proud to share that our students and staff have collaborated together to showcase their talents and passions by creating and participating in close to 100 clubs, organizations, programs and teams on campus.
I cannot wait to see what this first 9 weeks brings for our campus. If the successes of the 1st 4 weeks are any indication of what is ahead for the Hurricanes, we have a pretty amazing, collaborative and memorable time ahead. I hope to see you out and about supporting our campus at an event soon! Also, be sure to make it out to our Klein Cain HS Open House next week, on Tuesday, September 13th from 6-8 PM.
Be sure to visit our Klein Cain website and follow our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) to keep up with campus information and all of our Hurricane happenings! Additionally, you are always welcome to contact us at 832-375-8400, if you have any questions regarding any of this information.
