Parent Teacher Conference Day: November 5
Parent-teacher conference day in Florence One Schools is scheduled for Monday, November 5th. Parent-teacher conferences will be held between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at all local schools. All students will be dismissed early on parent-teacher conference day. Elementary students will be dismissed at 12:10; middle and high school students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to call the school to schedule an appointment to conference with teachers. Parents whose schedules will not allow them to conference with teachers during the regularly scheduled hours of the conferences should call the school in order to schedule a conference time to meet their needs.
School officials have noted that since report cards were issued on Monday, October 29th, the day set aside for parent teacher conferences provides an excellent opportunity for parents and teachers to assess and discuss the academic progress of students.
