Clothing Drive
We are collecting in-kind donations
It's that time of year to clean out the closets :) During the month of October, we will be collecting in-kind donations for the "Red Door Shelter' in Toronto. Please check out the list below for the Red Door Shelters needs. There will be table and boxes in the front lobby of the school for you to drop off any donations. Please also don't forget to fill out your donation ballet at the bottom for a chance to win a basket. Thanks for all your support!

Fall Cleaning Donation Drive
You are welcome to bring donations all month, but the last day for donations will be on October 30th. Please feel free to come and join us for some light snacks and refreshments at our October assembly, where the winner of the draw will be announced.

10:00 - National anthem
10:15 - Principal opening
10:25 - Presentation from room One
10:40 - Winners announced

Needs
Current In kind Needs Are:
- New and gently used household items: Toasters, microwaves, dish sets, cups, mugs, blenders, cutlery, etc.
- New and gently used and laundered sheets and towels
- New Undergarments: Underwear, Socks, for men, women, and children
- New and gently used and cleaned baby items: baby clothing, baby baths.
- Gift baskets for new mothers (unisex arrangements if possible).
- New Toiletries: shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrushes, baby wipes, diapers, feminine products.
- New and gently used seasonal clothing for all ages (Seasonal)
- Non-perishable food or Food Vouchers for our shelter food banks ($25, $50 or $100 denominations from No Frills, Food Basics, Price Chopper, Metro or Loblaws).
Please note: We cannot accept used toys, child cribs, change tables, car seats, play pens, stuffed animals, used undergarments, high chairs, used books, VHS movies, used computer equipment and items that are broken or in need of repair.
We are the Small Humans
We are Room One. We are learning about our community and how we can be active within in it. We are having the Donation Drive so we can help the people in our community, but also to help bring our school closer together.
