Daniels Story Book Jacket
Daniel knew his life was going to change. He just never imagined it would be this drastic.
Daniel was a normal Jewish, German boy. He went to school, played sports, and had friends just like every other ordinary child. He was just like everyone else from Frankfurt as far as he was concerned. That all changed when Hitler came into power. Hitler extremely changed millions of peoples view on the Jewish culture. In an instant anyone not of the perfect Aryan race or anyone Jewish were automatically transformed into some sort of devil worshipers almost. Hitler turned Daniel’s and many other Jews lives upside down.
Daniel had no idea what was happening to him. In a minute amount of time, Daniel finds himself sitting on a packed train with hundreds of other Jew from Frankfurt. This somewhere he would later find out to be the ghetto of Lodz Poland. Conditions were horrible, and the Nazis guards even worse. Daniel continuously looks at the photographs he took with him on the train. He glances at these images, and even plays somewhat of “slideshows” in his head of these happy moments. Daniel doesn't know what his fate will be. He has one thing planted in his brain for certain though, he will survive and tell his story so the world knows of these evil Nazis. He will not let this terrible encounter be forgotten. The question is, “How will he beat these odds?”
Facts:
2) Nazis would kill anyone that wasn't "healthy" looking. Even if the person was an expert at a certain job, and they were better than everyone else they could still be murdered because they looked scraggly.
3) Many Jewish families would give their children to German families so that they could survive and tell of the horrible things happening to them.
