Message from the Principal

Dear Carlton Families,

Next week, Carlton will be participating in the Great Kindness Challenge. Last year, over 36,000 schools in 115 countries took part in the kindness challenge. At school, students will work to do as many acts of kindness as possible listed on the Great Kindness Challenge school checklist. Student Council will also be hosting a Kindness Table for students to write a kind message or a kindness challenge for other Carlton students. If your family would like to participate in the Great Kindness Challenge, below are links to the Family Kindness Challenge Checklist in multiple languages. You can work as a family to complete as many acts of kindness as possible on the checklist. Of course, you don't have to limit yourselves to things on the checklist. Kind acts bring joy to everyone involved!

When we all engage in acts of kindness, children learn that being kind is important to everyone in our community. Below is a video about the Family Kindness Challenge!

Thanks for spreading kindness!
