How can we stay healthy during these times?
Bellingham Schools provides tips in these "Big 4 for Wellness" categories. You can find suggestions for all 4 categories here on their website.
- Mental / Emotional
- Physical Activity
- Social Connection
- Reflection
To boost our wellness, my family likes to go on bike rides. Each Spring, Smart Trips teaches our 7th graders how to safely and confidently ride bikes in and around Bellingham. With school closures, our students did not get to learn with them in class.
Yet, all students and families can learn about bike trails in Bellingham and watch safety videos. Go here to look at self-guided rides, maps and refresh your knowledge about bike safety.
If you have any fun rides you like to go on, please tell me about them!
Take care,
Matt Whitten
Shuksan Principal
¡Hola!
Matt Whitten
