High School Application Instructions March 2020

Fall 2021 application deadline: Friday July 30, 2021

Check your personal email for your admissions email from Norco College.

  • Wait two (2) business days to receive your “Welcome to Norco College” email sent from admissions@norcocollege.edu
  • Search through all folders (including junk/spam)
  • Save your RCCD/Norco College student ID# and student email address, you will need this information to (1) submit student/parent authorization form and (2) to register for classes later (on or after your assigned registration date & time).
  • You MUST be signed in to your RCCD college email account (_____@student.rccd.edu) to submit your authorization form
  • You will need to know your college information to submit your authorization form

Register for your classes via WebAdvisor or MyPortal

  • Register for your classes on or after your assigned registration date & time

  • RCCD/Norco College ID# and/or your student email address (@student.rccd.edu) is required to register for your class/es

CANVAS Distance Education

  1. Please do not log in to CANVAS until you have registered into the class. If you do not register for your college class you will NOT have access to the class via Canvas. Please allow 2hrs after you register to log in to Canvas to access your class information, many times class information will not be available until the 1st day of class (week of 2/16/2021).
  2. CANVAS is the distance education platform used for RCCD/Norco College distance learning during Spring 2021. Please log in on the first day of the term (week of 2/16/2021) so you can have access to your course syllabus, lectures, discussion board, communication from the instructor, etc...
  3. Your login username will be your RCCD student email address (Don't know what that is? Search for your "Welcome to Norco College" email sent from admissions@norcocollege to the email address you used to apply to Norco College). Your password will be new student (all lower case, no space). Please remember to select RCCD as your organization when trying to access your online class information, do not select CNUSD for your dual enrollment courses.
