Why remove photos from devices?
Save Space
Students should remove their photos from the iPads to save space for school projects. Here is how!
First
- Open iPad Photos App.
- Tap Select next to each group of photos OR tap on individual photos.
Next
- Tap the garbage can in the upper left.
- This removes photos from your photo album, not the iPad.
Last
Tap on the Albums tab at the bottom of the photos app.
Tap Select in the upper right-hand corner.
Tap on Select All in the left-hand corner.
This will remove the photos from the iPad permanently.
Digital Citiznenship
We want students to start practicing and recognizing their rights and responsibilities when it comes to Digital Citizenship. A great way to begin is to have them learn about copyright laws.
To help our younger students, we've added four websites to Clever so students can begin to search and use photos for projects that are royalty free.
Once they find these photos, they can save them to the iPads and then delete them when their project is done. These are available for all teachers and K-4 students.
