What is Cyberbullying?

Cyberbullying is when someone or a group of someones is bullied by one person or a group of people using technology, whether using cell phones, computers, tablets, etc.

It is different than physical bullying because it can happen 24/7. It is much easier to attack someone via the internet rather than in person. It is easier to hide in a world that is open to anyone at any time.

Cautioning and Important Everyday Information

If your child is online frequently, make sure to tell them to never give their name, where they live, or agree to make physical contact because of the dangers of predators out in the world.

Cyberbullying can be done by any age. Anyone who has the ability to onto a computer can cyberbully.

There are applications that parents can get through their phones or through their computers that can help block certain websites and other places where they do not want their children going.
