Weekly Staff Update
Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy
Message from the Principal
Currently, Father is in stable condition, but he is fighting an infection. No news to report at this time on his condition or progress. He is on full life support, receiving food, water, and ventilation (though he is also doing some breathing on his own). as they give him time to see what healing may occur in the brain. The family continues to request prayers for their beloved son, brother, and uncle. They understand that it may be God's plan to completely heal him or it may be His plan to bring him home...or somewhere in between. It has been wonderful to see such an outpouring of love and prayers from the parishioners at Holy Rosary, Visitation, and all the other churches where Father has worked. Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers as we all await the Lord's decision for him.
Blessings,
Katie Dempsey

Gala...
Besides keeping communication open regarding Father Wagner and our community, my attention has to be on the gala. A special thank you to Sarah and Amparo for their help with this. The budgetary goal for this single event is $175,000. To put things in perspective, the budgetary goal for the crab feed and auction is $50,000. So, I have been trying to spend my time lately, as has Sarah, connecting with donors to either get them to the event or get a pledge in lieu of their attendance. This event is critical to closing out our year successfully. The best thing you all can do to help me at this point is to do the best you can with teaching and classroom management, keeping communication open with the parents, and being able to problem solve as issues arise. Thank you to Amparo also for her support with the needs of the teachers. I know that, with God's grace, we will make it through all of this.
