7th Grade Dance Rotation: We have completed our choreography for the March performance. We are in the polishing phase of preparation. A costume is required for the performance that is unique. Speak with your child concerning details. The first glance at this costume will be February 4th for a grade. I'll inform the students if they need to make adjustments on that day. Ballet History Study Guide is to be completed by Feb 1st. A test will be conducted on this material Feb 8th.
7th dance focus: We have completed our choreography for the March performance. We are in the polishing phase of preparation. Google sites 6th grade portion was due January 31st. A costume letter was sent home last week and money was due Feb 1st.
Strings - Ms. Lindler
Drama - Mrs. Keenan
Focus students have auditioned all week for roles for their spring production of "The Happiness Shop." Next week, students will learn which roles they will play and we will rehearse daily for our performance on March 28. Students are also invited to participate in events at the SC Speech and Theatre Association (a middle school theatre competition festival) that takes place on Saturday, March 2 in Lexington. Permission forms and information for those interested in competing or participating in any capacity will be sent home next week.

Students will have a stems list with a quiz on Friday. They will present and discuss their essays.
7th Grade SS
Students will complete the study of the Great Depression and rise of totalitarian governments. They will create a study guide to prepare for their test.
ELA-Templeton
- The students are reading Hiroshima. They will be creating a companion book to go with it.
- Stems quiz Thursday.
- I am looking forward to reading the 1940s book the students created because in my preview they look AWESOME.
