The makeup plan includes:
· Feb. 20 (Presidents’ Day) will make up time lost Jan. 9
· March 8 (originally designated as a professional learning day for staff) will be a makeup day for Jan. 10
· Jan. 11 will not be made up by students or 12-month employees who worked Jan. 11; missed time for all other employees will be made up through a flexible schedule or use of leave.
Should additional days be missed due to inclement weather, time will be made up by adding minutes to the school day and/or other means as designated by the Superintendent.
PLEASE NOTE: A memo from the Department of Human Resources and the Department of Budget and Finance will be sent to all staff next week with additional guidance about employee makeup time.

Deactivation of SchoolNet's Outreach Module
The school division will deactivate SchoolNet’s Outreach module effective July 1, 2017. After this date, all information on SchoolNet’s Outreach module will not be available. All other modules of SchoolNet, including parent access, will remain in place. If schools have links to the Outreach area, they need to begin removing links from their internet and intranet site. Although we see minimal active and updated teacher pages, there might be some teachers actively using SchoolNet web pages. These webpages will also need to be moved including the Left Navigation pages.
The SchoolNet Outreach module includes the following:
- School page
- Teacher pages (Online Classroom)
- Left Navigation pages
- Calendar
ACCESS for ELLs Testing begins soon!
Trantwood's ESL students will start their ACCESS testing beginning January 23rd until January 31st. The testing will take place in the computer lab. We will be following the same guidelines we use for security during SOL testing. Students will need to maintain a level 0 in the hallways and the library. More information regarding Maker Space and library use will be forthcoming. Teachers who have students participating the testing will be notified with a schedule via e-mail next week. Parts of the testing are leveled and some schedules may change as the testing progresses depending on a student's score.
Mrs. Schatti's students build cohesion through active participation on the first day back by making 8's with their peers during Morning Meeting.
Our students know how to make a guy feel special! Thanks for showing them the way.
Our cafeteria ladies are so joyful.
Green Cardinals preparing to make videos of the Green Guidelines.
Mrs. Roseberry's class works in small groups, playing math games to learn multiplication.
We can play high and low notes!
Ella & Charlotte invite everyone to contribute to their Girl Scouts Chemo Bag project.
Celebrating 30 years of teaching. 2 teach is 2 touch lives 4 ever. Way to go Mrs. Halman!
A Snowy Day...
