Meet the Staff Night at GMS
Meet the Team- Part 2
I am so excited to be your teacher this year as we discover this STEM adventure! I have been married for almost 20 years to my husband Erik. We met at my alma mater Texas Tech University where I earned a BA in English and Psychology. This is a picture of our three children and nephew from one of the snow storms a few years ago.
I am the STEM Coach at GMS and Cannon Elementary: A GCISD STEM School. I received my BS degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my MEd. from TCU. My experience in education spans 35 years with the past 19 years in GCISD as a science teacher, science curriculum specialist, and coach. I have two children, Mandy and Matt, and a son-in-law, Daniel. I am so excited to be working with the first middle school STEM campus in our district!
As parents you are an integral part of our team. We rely on you to support your kids in this new learning environment. Please keep us up to date on family changes and significant events in your child's life. This will help us understand how best to meet their needs, but also let us be cheerleaders for them!
