We are very excited that several of our students will be representing us at the county PTA Reflections ceremony on Saturday, Feb.18th @ Atlee High School. We are proud of all the hard work that they put into creating their projects.

Today is the FINAL DAY of this year's Kid's Heart Challenge! As of this morning, we have raised over $12,000 for the American Heart Association. I am so incredibly proud of you Comets for being such Heart Heroes for helping to raise money for those with sick hearts.

Remember, if you haven't done so already, my challenge for ALL students is to sign up and take Finn's mission. Finn's Mission contains important videos and information that I would like for all of our students to watch and learn to teach them about heart health. Even if your family does not wish to participate in fundraising, I would love for every family to watch these videos together so that everyone can be better informed to be a Heart Hero!

1. KERSEY CREEK SCHOLARSHIP: Graduating SENIORS - if you attended Kersey Creek, please consider applying for a KCES PTA Scholarship for $500 to be used to support your continuing education next year! Due date is APRIL 1! Application information in the link.

2. OUR RESOURCE AND SPECIAL ED teachers are in need of supplies: baby wipes, kleenex, disinfecting wipes, sharpened pencils, duct tape, sticky notes, & Velcro dots are most needed.

3. CLINIC NEEDS: The clinic is in need of size 6 and 8 boys pants. If your child is sent home with borrowed clothes from the clinic, please return them.

4. WINTER MARKET SUCCESS: Thank you all for a successful Winter Market! We made over $5000! It was a great event with the KCES Community! We plan to use this money towards One Book One Family, Field Day supplies and t-shirts, and our 5th grade graduation. A special thank you to all of our volunteers! We could not have had such an amazing event without your support.
