The Together Leader: AP Book Study
All Assistant Principals will be reading The Together Leader: Get Organized for Your Success- and Sanity! by Maia Heyck-Merlin as a book study throughout this year.
AP's are asked to read Chapters 1 & 2 by August 14. In order to be prepared to discuss the readings at the AP meeting, please consider the following:
- In what ways would you like to be more efficient in your work?
- In what ways would you like to have more balance in your life?
- What is your Togetherness goal?
Upcoming Management Meetings for AP's
August:
- 11 - New AP Support (AP's within their first 3 years), 7:00-9:00 AM, A&B
- 14 - All AP Meeting (ALL AP's), 4:00-6:00 PM, PDC
- 15-17 - SLT (one AP per site to attend as part of team), PDC
- 21- Twilight Workshop (optional professional growth for all leaders), 4:00-6:00 PM, PDC
September:
- 13- AP Learning & Equity Walk -Group A of MS/HS Cohorts (MVA, ELM, CPM, HM, MOM, GRJ)
- 14 - AP Learning & Equity Walk - Group B of MS/ HS Cohorts (SOM, RDR, CVM, BVM, NCM)
- 15- New AP Support (AP's within their first 3 years), 7:00-9:00 AM, A&B
Anchors of Appreciation
I encourage you each to take on the challenge in the link below (#LeadLAP Monday). At the beginning of the year, it is a great time to build or rebuild relationships with teachers.
