Year 5 Newsletter
Friday 19th February 2016
Welcome to the Year 5 newsletter!
Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Dear Parents,
We hope this newsletter finds you all well after a busy festive season. The children have come back recharged and full of energy for the second half of the term.
We have jumped straight into our learning with preparations for class assemblies, sports day and a school trip. We have also started our fourth Unit of Inquiry.
Looking ahead, next week we have the Years 5 & 6 Sports Day on the morning of Wednesday 24th February. The format is a little different this year with the children being split into House groups instead of classes. Please refer to the main school newsletters for further information. Parents and carers are of course welcome to attend and cheer on your children. We are all keeping our fingers crossed for dry weather!
Read on to discover what we have been up to since the last newsletter and, as ever, thank you for your continued support.
All the Year 5 team wish you a happy and healthy Year of the Monkey!
